Marketing Your Home


The real estate market has changed.  Inputing the home on the Mulitiple Listing Service and putting a For Sale sign in the yard is not enough these days.  Selling a home is all about exposure.  On average it is taking 60-90 days and sometimes longer in this market to get an acceptable offer. 

First of all, I will meet with you to determine your home's value based on recent comparable sales.  I regularly work with a local Home Staging company and together we can give you furniture and staging tips as well as landcaping ideas to help with "curb appeal" in order to get top dollar for your home. 

A comprehensive marketing plan is imperative in today's buyer's market.  Exposure to all people in all places.  You never know who might be interested in buying your home.  It is important that we sit down together and go over what is involved in the marketing of your home.  My marketing plan, along with Willis Allen's advertising will bring increased exposure to your home.

Either in-person or over the phone, I will go over the weekly activity on your property.  I track the daily hits on my website and the amount of time spent on the site, plus I can tell you where they were from--even what state and city looked at your property!  I can even tell you the # of visitors to your home on Realtor.com.  This, along with the # of calls from private parties and agents + feedbacks from showings can help determine how your home is priced and how long it might take to sell.  This information is invaluable in today's market!
